Job Summary

Western Youth Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Bilingual Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a key member of our school-based mental health services, you will provide clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and case management to children and families in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality clinical services to clients at a school site, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and case management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of school, mental health, and social service staff to ensure effective and culturally sensitive services.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
  • Provide education and support to clients, families, and school staff on mental health issues and resources.
  • Document all clinical services and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of program goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage, Family and Child Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Counseling Psychology, or related field.
  • Registration as an Associate Social Worker or MFT Intern with the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS).
  • Two years of directly related experience working with adolescents, children, and their families.
  • Bilingual ability in Spanish required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
