Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to patients requiring close monitoring and frequent assessment in a PCU setting.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify patient needs, and prioritize care to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  • Monitor patient vital signs, respond to changes in patient condition, and report concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in patient education and discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition of care.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a PCU or similar setting.
  • Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information.
