Overview:
The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist will be responsible for executing a diverse range of standard and advanced imaging techniques. This role involves collaboration with fellow imaging technologists to ensure optimal patient care. Effective communication and professional behavior are essential and must reflect the core values and mission of Christus Health.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Uphold the standards of the OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders.
2. Conduct various diagnostic imaging procedures, including complex cases, using cutting-edge computerized imaging technology.
3. Exhibit proficiency in initiating and managing intravenous (IV) access and utilizing high-speed, pressurized injection devices.
4. Assess patients for clinical contrast history and identify any potential contraindications.
5. Follow established protocols, quality assurance guidelines, and regulatory standards.
6. Engage with patients and healthcare providers to prioritize and coordinate imaging procedures, ensuring high-quality patient care and continuity.
7. Be adaptable and willing to rotate among departments and clinics to provide adequate coverage.
8. Assist Radiologists during invasive procedures and biopsies, utilizing CT technology to accurately locate anatomical sites.
9. Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms, ensuring they are well-stocked and compliant with Infection Control standards.
10. Accurately code and enter all charges related to procedures.
11. Tailor patient assessment and care methods to meet the individual physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and developmental needs of each patient.
12. Safeguard patient confidentiality and only disclose information as necessary for job functions.
13. Demonstrate commitment to the core values of Christus Health.
14. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
1. Graduate from an accredited Radiology Technology program or an equivalent recognized institution.
2. Preferred: 1 year of experience in CT within a hospital or clinical environment.
