Stratus Building Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and organized Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including processing invoices, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Process payroll, including preparing and submitting payroll reports, and managing employee benefits.
  • Manage the general ledger, including preparing and submitting financial statements, and maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow, including making deposits and transfers as needed.
  • Prepare and submit tax returns, including sales tax returns and other regulatory filings.
  • Provide financial analysis and reporting, including preparing and submitting financial reports and dashboards.
  • Manage and maintain financial systems, including QuickBooks and other accounting software.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including operations and sales, to ensure accurate and timely financial information.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping, preferably in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP and financial reporting.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficient in QuickBooks and other accounting software, with ability to learn new systems and technologies.
