Reassignment Specialist

The Student Officer Reassignment Processing Specialist plays a crucial role in managing the reassignment process for student officers. This position involves reviewing and requesting reassignment notices in systems like EDAS, IPPS-A, TOPMIS, and ATRRS to ensure assignment eligibility. The specialist conducts reassignment briefings, prepares reassignment orders, and distributes them to commanders. Effective coordination with commanders and other military personnel is essential to ensure that officer reassignments are processed efficiently, meeting established timelines.

• Review and request reassignment notices through EDAS, IPPS-A, and other personnel systems.
• Verify officer assignment eligibility and conduct reassignment briefings.
• Prepare and distribute reassignment orders to commanders within 15 days of course end date or within 5 days of receiving orders.
• Collaborate with commanders to ensure compliance with reassignment procedures.
• Update ATRRS and other systems with reassignment and departure information within established timelines.
• Process family travel applications and other related personnel actions as required.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in military personnel or human resources management.
• Knowledge of Army personnel systems such as EDAS, IPPS-A, TOPMIS, and ATRRS.

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

• NACI clearance required.
