Penn Highlands Healthcare is seeking an exceptional Family Medicine Physician to serve as Core Faculty and take a lead role in ensuring the continual success of our Family Medicine Residency. This is an exciting time for our healthcare system as we continue to innovate and expand our services.
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Family Medicine Physician to join our team as Core Faculty. As a member of our faculty, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising and Precepting Residents
- Providing Patient Care in our Continuity Clinic
- Educating and Mentoring Residents
- Presenting Lectures and Conducting Resident Evaluations
- Demonstrating Scholarly Activity and Participating in Committee and Faculty Meetings
- Collaborating with Core Faculty and Specialty Physicians
- No OB Call
Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A D.O. or M.D. Degree
- Board Certification/Board Eligibility in Family Medicine (BC required prior to start date)
- 3-5 years of clinical medicine and teaching experience (preferred, but will consider exceptional candidates with less)
- Osteopathic Manipulative Treatment experience (preferred)
