Role Responsibilities
This position involves providing ultrasound services at designated outreach clinics. The selected candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an outpatient setting with precision and efficiency.
Key Duties Include:
- Operating and maintaining imaging equipment, ensuring optimal functionality.
- Reporting any equipment malfunctions promptly and managing daily administrative tasks related to patient care.
- Participating in the introduction of new protocols and evaluating advanced imaging technologies.
- Assisting medical professionals during procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and proper supply management.
- Documenting ultrasound scans and patient education accurately.
Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma or GED is required. Graduation from an accredited Ultrasound program is essential.
Licenses/Certifications:
ARDMS OB/GYN certification is mandatory. NT certification (NTQR or FMF) is required or must be obtained within six months of employment. Fetal Echo certification is preferred.
Experience:
A minimum of five years in Sonography is required, with at least one year in a high-risk OB ambulatory clinic or similar healthcare setting.
