RN Inpatient
Job Responsibilities:
As a Registered Nurse in our Inpatient unit, you will provide high-quality patient care to individuals within an assigned unit of the hospital and/or program. Your primary responsibility will be to render professional nursing care to patients, ensuring their safety and well-being throughout their stay. You will work closely with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, addressing the unique needs of each patient. Additionally, you will be responsible for administering medications, performing various medical procedures, and maintaining accurate records of patient care. Your exceptional communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment will be essential in providing excellent patient care and collaborating with the healthcare team. Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. Bachelor's in nursing preferred. Registered nurse licensed to work in state(s) of employment. Experience as a staff nurse in a psychiatric setting preferred. Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations. CPR training. Ability to follow written and verbal directions. Verbal/written communication skills. Ability to utilize personal protective equipment when performing invasive procedures, collecting urine, and transporting lab specimens. Respond to urgent/emergency situations per protocol/current training. All other duties as assigned.
