Position Overview: Ardent Health Services is seeking a qualified Faculty Pulmonologist with expertise in Cystic Fibrosis to enhance our healthcare network. This role is vital within our system, which encompasses numerous hospitals and clinics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assume the responsibilities of a retiring pulmonary physician, transitioning into a leadership role for the adult cystic fibrosis program.
- Engage in pulmonary practice alongside cystic fibrosis duties, promoting a comprehensive approach to patient care.
- Contribute to a thriving academic environment with a significant number of Internal Medicine Residents and an emerging medical school.
- Conduct weekly clinics and provide consultations for hospitalized patients with cystic fibrosis.
- Collaborate with the cystic fibrosis care team to tailor treatment plans to individual patient needs.
- Participate in the cystic fibrosis registry and quality improvement initiatives.
- Engage in research activities as part of the therapeutic development network.
- Assist in managing the annual grant budget in collaboration with the center director and CF coordinator.
- Attend and contribute to the annual North American cystic fibrosis conference.
