Job Title: Probate Attorney

Reports to: Supervising Attorney

Position Summary: Arnold Gallagher P.C. is a premier law firm in Eugene, Oregon, providing a wide range of legal services to individuals and businesses. Our services include general business representation, commercial transactions and litigation, creditors' rights, personal injury claims, estate planning, probate, and trust administration.

We seek an experienced Associate Attorney with a minimum of 3 years of probate administration, guardianship, conservatorship, and/or trust administration experience. Primary duties will include managing an active probate, protective proceedings, and trust administration business for firm clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing and filing documents with Courts
• Direct communication with Clients
• Drafting and preparation of pleadings to open, administer, and close estates
• Research and compose legal documents related to motions
• Appear in court in support of active cases
• Successfully balance a full caseload and meet pressing deadlines
• Supervising legal assistant and paralegal

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of probate, wills, trust, and estate planning experience
• Member in good standing with the Oregon State Bar Association
• Strong academic credentials
• Exceptional communication skills to effectively work with clients and support staff
• Excellent legal-research and writing skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
• A self-driven individual with the ability to manage their own caseload

Job Type: Full-Time

Pay: Compensation will be commensurate with experience.
