Key Responsibilities:

* Provide psychiatric services to inmate patients, including evaluations, treatment, and monitoring of psychotropic medications in compliance with professional and company policies and procedures.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure uniformity of mental health services and documentation of psychiatric services.
* Provide supervision and oversight to psychiatric nurses (if applicable) and consultation/training services to mental health and medical staff.

Qualifications & Requirements:

* Doctorate in psychiatry.
* Training and experience providing psychiatric services to an adult population.
* Physician who is licensed to practice medicine in the state of employment.
* Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry.
* CPR Certified.
