We are seeking a highly skilled Multidisciplinary Allied Health Professional to join our team as a Speech Language Pathologist/Therapist at the Applewood Rehabilitation Center. This is a 13-week travel contract offering the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients.

About the Role:

  • This position will involve providing high-quality speech therapy services to patients with various communication disorders, including but not limited to aphasia, dysarthria, and apraxia.
  • You will be responsible for assessing patient needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to promote effective communication and swallowing skills.
  • Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and medical professionals, is essential to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) or related field.

  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills, with ability to adapt to diverse patient needs.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
