STGi is a leader in providing healthcare solutions, including medical, dental, and mental health services to individuals in custody within detention facilities. We are currently seeking qualified Radiology Technologist professionals for full-time and PRN/Per Diem positions.

Essential Qualifications

  • Completion of a certificate or Associate Degree program in Radiologic Technology accredited by The Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • A minimum of one year of experience as a certified Radiology Technologist, with a valid license if required.
  • Possession of a current, unrestricted license as a Radiology Technologist in Texas.
  • Certification in BLS for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
  • Capability to pass a federal government security background check.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conducts radiologic imaging of the head, torso, and limbs for routine examinations and diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepares X-ray rooms, adjusting standard positioning techniques to accommodate patient needs.
  • Reviews X-ray images to ensure clarity and quality, promptly notifying the physician of any significant findings.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to walk unaided at a normal pace for up to 10 minutes and maintain balance.
  • Must respond to medical emergencies within 4 minutes, which may require fast walking or jogging.
  • Ability to perform CPR or emergency care while standing or kneeling.
  • Must assist sick, injured, or elderly individuals during emergencies, which may involve lifting or carrying.
  • Must possess the ability to see, hear, and smell, with or without aids as necessary.
  • Must alternate easily between kneeling and standing positions.
  • Must be capable of lifting, pushing, or carrying 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods.
