Job Summary

Candidates should be passionate educators and practitioners who can facilitate the needs of diverse 21st-century learners who aspire to practice in the field of Nutrition.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach courses in Nutrition, including lectures, discussions, and lab sessions.
  • Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with the college's mission and goals.
  • Assess student learning and provide feedback to improve student outcomes.
  • Stay current with developments in the field of Nutrition and incorporate best practices into teaching and curriculum.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement departmental initiatives.

Requirements
  • Master's degree in Nutrition for Dietetic Sciences, or Master's degree and 18 graduate credit hours in Nutrition. Ph.D. preferred.
  • Prior college teaching experience is preferred.
  • The successful candidate must have a high level of computer literacy and a commitment to teaching.
  • The successful candidate must be willing and able to teach in fully online format.

Work Environment

This is a part-time position with a variable schedule. The successful candidate must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
