About the Role

We are seeking a skilled janitorial and light maintenance professional to perform various tasks at our properties in South Minneapolis, MN.

This role requires maintaining a clean and well-maintained space for our residents and supporting a set of scattered-site properties.

The successful candidate will have a valid driver's license, vehicle insurance, and access to a reliable vehicle.


Responsibilities
  • Cleaning interior common areas
  • Cleaning vacant apartments
  • Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping
  • Cleaning windows
  • Inside/outside debris removal
  • Seasonal duties: light snow removal, salting/sanding
  • Plumbing (snaking toilets, other light repairs)
  • Electrical (changing light bulbs, outlet covers, etc.)
  • Changing furnace filters
  • Installing blinds
  • Changing smoke detector batteries

Compensation

This position pays $18-$23 per hour depending on experience and skillset.

Schedule and Location

This position offers Monday-Friday, daytime hours with typical work schedules of 8:30am-5pm.

There is some flexibility in these hours to accommodate the needs of the property and the staff person.

The Building Technician position has NO On-Call.

This is an in-person position working mostly out of the assigned properties.

Occasional work at Aeon's Central Office, training facilities, and other properties may occur from time to time.
