About Us:

As a pioneering planned retirement community, Leisure World has been a cornerstone for active adults aged 55 and over. With a rich history and a vibrant community of over 9,000 residents, we pride ourselves on providing a resort-style living experience across our expansive 542-acre property.

Work Schedule, Compensation & Benefits:

  • Part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position.
  • Working hours: 5-7 hours per day, 2-4 times per week, including early morning and evening shifts, as well as weekends and holidays.
  • This role requires 100% on-site presence.
  • Hourly pay ranges from $16.07 to $21.92, based on experience and job-related factors.
  • Benefits eligibility begins after the first 30 days of employment, including a 401(k) plan.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Confirming GRF membership for all gym users.
  • Monitoring member behavior and reporting any incidents or accidents.
  • Assessing the gym's condition and addressing any maintenance issues.
  • Performing additional tasks as needed by the department.

Qualifications:

  • CPR/AED and first aid certification required within the initial months of employment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with clients.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, and reach frequently.
  • Capacity to lift and carry items weighing up to 25 pounds.
