Job Summary

We are seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our team at MainStreet Family Care in Wake Forest, North Carolina. As a key member of our urgent care team, you will provide high-quality patient care and lead a small team of medical assistants.

About the Job

This is an exciting opportunity for FNPs early in their career to utilize their full scope of practice and work in a fast-paced urgent care environment. You will have the chance to treat patients of all ages, from babies to geriatric patients, and work in a supportive environment that encourages growth and development.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and treat common illnesses such as colds, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues
  • Perform minor procedures, suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluations/management
  • Review x-rays and provide general dermatology, eye problems, and EKG interpretations
  • Treat children of all ages and provide occupational medicine services
  • Work a rotating schedule that includes every other weekend

Qualifications

  • FNP board certification required
  • MSN or higher education required
  • DOT certification preferred but not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience working in EMR and Microsoft Office suite preferred

Compensation and Benefits

  • $120,000 - $150,000 per year salary range (based on experience)
