Job Title: Robotics Engineer

At Kaleidoscope Innovation, we are seeking a skilled Robotics Engineer to join our team. As a Robotics Engineer, you will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of our robotic work cells, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate the daily operation of Alpha and Beta level work cells, ensuring they meet production requirements.
  • Provide onsite software, controls, and hardware support and coordination for product tests, collaborating with remote hardware and software development teams as needed.
  • Support the setup and configuration of software and hardware systems, ensuring they are properly integrated and functioning correctly.
  • Collaborate with onsite parties to meet priorities and deadlines, developing strong relationships and communication skills.
  • Assist with the identification of hardware issues and software bugs, performing root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
  • Perform planned daily, weekly, and monthly hardware preventative maintenance activities, ensuring the work cells are in good working condition.
  • Complete unplanned maintenance and repairs as needed, following prescribed instructions and procedures.
  • Install hardware changes and provide documentation and updates as directed, including collecting data, data analysis, and creating reports.
About the Role:

This is a contracted on-site Field Service Engineering role, providing early stage Manipulation workcells with the onsite engineering resources required for the on-going development of the early phase work cells. The successful candidate will have strong technical skills, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
