Cogeneration Supervisor

The Cogeneration Utilities Supervisor will oversee a team of employees to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the thermal power plant. This includes supervising engine/generator sets and associated cogeneration and CHP equipment to support the Paper Mill process.

• Manage communications with fuel gas and electrical utility providers
• Monitor and control inventory levels
• Responsible for managing the budget
• Work collaboratively with the EHS Manager to coordinate all air permitting requirements for all emission units
• Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to reciprocate engines, pumps, valves, compressors, packaged boiler and small scale HRSG steam systems
• Generate production and performance reports, maintain required environmental records
• Responsible for identifying equipment and machinery faults in the facility
• Improves production processes, machinery, performance, and quality by making recommendations and putting them into action

• Engineering degree preferred
• 3+ years' supervisory experience is a must
• Thorough understanding of environmental processes and regulations and industrial safety procedures
• Comprehensive understanding of steam systems, water treatment, power boilers, and turbine generators
• Must be licensed as a stationary steam engineer
