We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Mercy General Hospital, a 313-bed acute care facility in East Sacramento. As a Physical Therapist on our inpatient rehabilitation unit, you will play a critical role in helping patients recover from illness or injury.
Responsibilities- Evaluate patients' abilities and design personalized intervention plans to improve function and mobility.
- Conduct medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs, using therapeutic procedures, modalities, and equipment as needed.
- Supervise physical therapy assistants and aides, as well as students, to ensure efficient management of work processes.
- Complete post-intervention activities, including session closure, documentation, communication, and charge capture.
- Current Physical Therapist License
- Current BLS Certification
- Previous experience as a Physical Therapist (preferred)
