Job Title: Field Surveyor

Job Overview

Actalent is seeking a skilled Field Surveyor to join our team. As a Field Surveyor, you will be responsible for conducting land surveys and metrology for industrial and refinery sites. You will work closely with our Department Manager, a Civil Engineer specializing in laser scanning, industrial control, and 3D modeling for heavy industrial clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Communicate with project managers on specific tasks and compile data on site.
• Analyze data and operate with total stations, data collectors, laser scanners, and laser tracker equipment.
• Utilize AutoCAD/Civil 3D to assist the civil and survey CAD team and create elevation and alignment plans based on the data.

Work Environment

This is a fully on-site position in Burns Harbor, Indiana. You will work closely with our team and have opportunities to learn, grow, and assist on a variety of projects.
