Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our kitchen team as a Dishwasher Assistant at The Haymaker in Goodyear. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is eager to learn and grow with our fast-paced and dynamic restaurant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate the industrial dishwasher with precision and efficiency
  • Wash glassware and other implements by hand when necessary, ensuring a high level of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Empty and clean all trash receptacles, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our staff and customers
  • Perform daily cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces
  • Follow all sanitation policies and procedures at all times, ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality
  • Provide assistance to the prep cook and other kitchen staff as needed, especially during peak times, to ensure seamless service and efficient operations
  • Perform opening, closing, and side work duties, including cleaning and preparing equipment and supplies
  • Clean up spills or broken glassware immediately, maintaining a safe and clean environment
