Clinical Nutrition Specialist I

for an inpatient role at

an esteemed healthcare facility.


This facility is a comprehensive acute care center, catering to the local community and surrounding areas.

The institution offers a range of inpatient services, including specialized units and is currently experiencing significant growth and expansion.

Reporting to the Clinical Nutrition Manager, the ideal candidate will:
provide inpatient nutritional care, primarily in critical care settings;
work rotating weekends to ensure comprehensive hospital coverage;
conduct quality improvement initiatives such as patient satisfaction assessments and monthly evaluations; and
educate members of the healthcare team, including medical staff and nursing personnel.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Basic Education Requirement:
Master's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as outlined by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND).
For those eligible for the registration exam prior to specified deadlines:
Bachelor's degree with completion of required coursework and supervised practice as outlined by ACEND.

Credentials Requirement:


Meets eligibility criteria for Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) by the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) and will achieve registration within a specified timeframe after hire.
In certain states and/or facilities, RD/RDN credentials may be required at the time of hire.
Certification/licensure as mandated by state(s) of practice. In some states and/or facilities, state certification/licensure may be required at the time of hire.
