About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Technician to join our team at Cortica. This role involves providing direct behavior therapy services to individuals with autism and collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary range for this position is $20.57 to $27.60, based on relevant experience, education level, and location. As a full-time employee, you will be eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company matching, paid holidays and wellness days, life insurance, disability insurance options, tuition reimbursements, and referral bonuses.

Key Responsibilities
  • Attend Cortica's orientation and complete Board Certified Autism Technician (BCAT) training.
  • Implement behavior-analytic services in both individual and group settings.
  • Work collaboratively with a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide direct support to children with autism spectrum disorder and other neurodevelopmental differences in various settings.
  • Assist with individualized assessment procedures through preference assessments and data collection.
  • Fulfill documentation requirements, including data collection and session notes.
Requirements
  • Experience working with children, preferably those with autism.
  • Bachelor's degree in a human service field or equivalent work experience.
  • Current Registered Behavior Technician certification or willingness to obtain BCAT credential within 45 days.
  • Valid California Driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Proficiency in software and systems, including electronic medical records and Microsoft Office products.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient information.
