We are seeking an AV Systems Engineer to enhance an enterprise IT initiative within the Intelligence Community. This role requires leveraging your extensive knowledge and experience to elevate our products and services. The position demands both conceptual and practical expertise in your field, along with a broad understanding of related disciplines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in client meetings and perform site assessments,
  • Translate client specifications into effective system designs,
  • Interpret architectural and construction documentation,
  • Design and engineer intricate audio/video/VTC systems, including the provision of floor plans and elevations,
  • Develop engineering, programming, and installation labor estimates,
  • Configure and test audio/video systems,
  • Provide guidance to integration and installation teams without supervisory duties.

Security Clearance Required:

  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of relevant AV experience; additional work experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Fundamental understanding of IP technologies.
  • Experience with AV switching systems.
  • Familiarity with commercial audio and a solid grasp of audio theory, signal flow, and gain staging.
  • Experience with DSP technology, including DANTE.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Visio and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices in audio, video, and control systems design/integration for various environments.
  • Capability to work in a dynamic setting.
  • Skill in assessing client needs and ensuring service quality and satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven ability to excel in challenging environments.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude for engaging with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Formal education in Electronics or a related field.
  • AVIXA Certified Technical Specialist (CTS).
