Position: Logistics and Shipping Coordinator

Company Overview: Bass Pro Shops is a leading retailer in the outdoor industry, dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service. Our subsidiary, TrueTimber Outdoors, is located in Inman, SC, and specializes in outdoor apparel, textiles, and accessories.

Job Summary: We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Logistics and Shipping Coordinator to become a vital part of our team. This role involves collaborating with internal departments, customers, and freight carriers to ensure accurate shipping documentation and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and print EDI carton labels in accordance with customer shipping specifications.
• Oversee outbound logistics by organizing and directing shipment schedules.
• Process shipments through various company and customer platforms.
• Create precise packing lists and bills of lading for all outgoing shipments.
• Maintain comprehensive computerized records of shipping and distribution activities.

Qualifications:

• Strong time management, administrative, and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for resolving shipping challenges.
• Ability to foster relationships with freight companies, colleagues, management, and vendors.
• Familiarity with shipping protocols.
• Experience with NetSuite or other ERP systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of Retail Link is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite, particularly Excel.
• Consistent and reliable attendance is essential.
• 2-3 years of experience in shipping operations.
