Job Overview

Lifelong Access is a leading provider of services and supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional (DSP) to join our team in our Supported Living program.

As a DSP, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with IDD to live independently and participate fully in their communities. Your responsibilities will include providing assistance with daily living activities, such as personal care, household tasks, and transportation, as well as supporting individuals to develop new skills and interests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to individuals with IDD, including assistance with daily living activities and skill development
  • Work collaboratively with the individual's Person Centered Plan (PCP) and Implementation Strategy to ensure that their needs are met
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with individuals, families, and other stakeholders
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Desire to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals with disabilities
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow protocols and instructions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with others
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
