About the Role:

Aquila Engineering LLC is seeking a highly skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to lead our Quality Assurance and Quality Control initiatives. This individual will play a critical role in supporting DevOps processes, ensuring seamless code deployment and version control. Additionally, they will contribute to the implementation of ISO 9001 standards for software QA/QC.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage QA/QC processes for software development.
  • Implement and maintain DevOps practices, including continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), version control, and release management.
  • Ensure all software releases are delivered with proper documentation, including technical specifications, release notes, and version control.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure code quality, testing, and deployment protocols are upheld.
  • Support the maintenance of ISO 9001 standards related to software quality management.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies, both automated and manual, to ensure the reliability and performance of deliverables.
  • Ensure internal processes for code review, testing, and troubleshooting are followed and enhanced as needed.
  • Provide support for DevOps workflows, enabling smooth and efficient software releases.
  • Act as the key liaison between development, operations, and QA teams to streamline collaboration and maintain alignment on projects.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience in software quality assurance and DevOps practices.
  • Strong understanding of QA/QC methodologies and software development lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001 standards and experience in quality management systems.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, version control (e.g., Git), and environment management.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a focus on working across multiple teams.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
