Cashier Associate

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Cashier Associate to join our team at BJ's Wholesale Club. As a Cashier Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, processing member purchases, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment.

• Process member purchases in a courteous and efficient manner, including verifying, renewing, and upgrading membership products.
• Scan merchandise and accept various forms of payments, including cash, check, and credit cards.
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to member inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the front-line department and self-checkout lanes.
• Assist with general club housekeeping and returns of re-sellable merchandise.
• Manage self-checkout and scan and pan lanes, resolving technical difficulties and providing support to members.

• Basic math skills and prior cashier or sales experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, moving frequently on hard surfaces and occasionally lifting objects up to 30 pounds.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with a strong focus on providing a positive member experience.
