Correctional Counselor

Job Summary:

This position is located at the Central California Women's Facility. The Correctional Counselor will provide counseling and guidance services to offenders, helping them to develop skills and strategies for successful reintegration into society.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct individual and group counseling sessions to address offender needs and goals.
• Develop and implement treatment plans to promote offender rehabilitation.
• Provide guidance and support to offenders as they navigate the correctional system.
• Collaborate with other correctional staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to offender care.
• Document offender progress and provide recommendations for treatment and release.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a related field, such as counseling or psychology.
• Experience working with offenders in a correctional setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
