Echocardiographer Technician

We are seeking a skilled Echo Vascular Technician PRN to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our hospital.

The Echo Vascular Technician PRN will be responsible for performing echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, and other diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. You will work closely with our team of cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.

• Perform echocardiograms, vascular ultrasounds, and other diagnostic tests to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases.
• Operate and maintain medical imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and ECG devices.
• Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the process and obtaining informed consent.
• Collect and analyze data from diagnostic tests, including echocardiograms and vascular ultrasounds.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.

• Registered Vascular Technician (RVT) or Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) certification.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience in a diagnostic imaging or cardiovascular setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
