Job Summary:

Northrop Grumman is seeking a highly skilled Lead Systems Engineer to join our team in Dulles, VA. As a key member of our space segment technical team, you will be responsible for leading the design, analysis, and execution of complex space systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and optimize space vehicle design, processing, and mission success

Troubleshoot and develop solutions to complex problems that the program may encounter

Develop, author, and/or provide input to major program data products and other deliverables

Technical management of program elements

Plan and conduct of technical reviews and technical baseline

Write status and technical performance reviews and reports

Mentor, coach, train, guide, direct, and advise junior staff

Requirements:

Active U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance at time of application

Bachelor's in Engineering, Physics, or related STEM Degree with 8 years of experience in a related engineering field

Extensive technical experience in systems engineering and integration of complex systems, including space systems development, manufacture, test, or operations

Preferred Qualifications:

Active or current TS/SCI U.S. Government Security Clearance

Experience in system architecture & CONOPs development

Experience with Integration & Test of spacecraft systems

Experience with various technical tools such as MATLAB, STK, CORE, DOORS, or CAMEO

Experience and/or training in Earned Value Management Systems

Salary Range:

$133,000 - $199,600

Northrop Grumman offers a competitive salary and benefits package, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
