Job Overview: Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness within the facility. This role involves performing extensive cleaning tasks, including floor maintenance, carpet shampooing, wall washing, and waste removal. Additional responsibilities may include monitoring heating systems, conducting routine maintenance, alerting management about repair needs, and clearing snow or debris from pathways.

Essential Qualifications & Responsibilities:

  • High School diploma or GED
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background investigation
  • Capability to lift heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Physical stamina to push, pull, bend, stoop, or stand for extended periods
  • Previous experience in janitorial services is preferred

Key Duties:

  • Maintain cleanliness of floors through sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming
  • Collect and dispose of trash
  • Wash windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate cleaning solutions and tools
  • Service and replenish restroom supplies
  • Dust and clean furniture, walls, machinery, and equipment
  • Polish furniture and fixtures
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned

Performance Metrics:

  • Effective Communication: Conveying information clearly to others.
  • Coordination: Adjusting actions based on the actions of others.
  • Equipment Selection: Identifying necessary tools and equipment for tasks.
