Job Summary

Spectrum Healthcare Resources is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at the Naval Bremerton Hospital in Bremerton, WA. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform ultrasound examinations to enable accurate diagnosis and guide treatment of various diseases, medical conditions, and injuries.
  • Conduct routine and emergent diagnostic sonography, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecologic, small parts, venous, neural, and miscellaneous studies.
  • Correlate patient clinical history with requested examination and consult electronic medical records to obtain results from previous diagnostic tests.
  • Schedule patient appointment times according to examination complexity and maintain daily patient registry of examinations.
Requirements
  • Certificate or graduate from an academic program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
  • Current primary certification by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • One year of experience as a sonographer.
  • BLS Certification.
