Caregiver Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility support as per the individual care plan.
- Encourage clients to maintain independence in their personal care routines.
- Serve meals to clients in communal dining areas or their residences, and assist in meal preparation according to established menus.
- Promote healthy eating habits and adequate hydration while respecting client preferences, and document any changes in dietary habits for review.
- Engage clients in recreational activities as outlined in the activity schedule, fostering social interactions and friendships among residents.
- Maintain accurate daily records for each client, adhering to company policies; document medication administration, leisure activities, incidents, and observations; report any changes in client condition or behavior to the supervisor.
- Assist clients with medication management as per established procedures; supervise self-administration of medications and ensure compliance with physician orders and legal requirements.
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized living environment for clients; perform general housekeeping duties and adhere to cleaning schedules for various areas.
- Must be proficient in using a Gait belt for client mobility assistance.
Respond effectively to emergency situations and address client requests for assistance promptly.
Qualifications/Skills:
- Health promotion and maintenance expertise

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- CPR/First Aid certification (within 6-12 months of hire)
- Home Care Registration
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving for individuals with disabilities, mental health challenges, or senior citizens
- Valid in-state driver's license with a clean driving record
