Job Title: Radiology OR Specialty Tech

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology OR Specialty Tech to join our team at the University of Vermont Medical Center. As a key member of our imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Job Summary:

The Radiology OR Specialty Tech will be responsible for performing a wide range of imaging procedures in the operating room, including fluoroscopic and radiographic exams. You will work closely with our surgical team to ensure seamless and efficient imaging services, while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and care.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform imaging procedures in the operating room, including fluoroscopic and radiographic exams
  • Collaborate with surgical team to ensure efficient and effective imaging services
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest imaging technologies and techniques
  • Assist in the clinical instruction of radiography students and provide guidance to new hires and other hospital personnel as needed
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology approved by CAHEA/JERCT
  • ARRT certified and licensed with the State of Vermont
  • CPR certified
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working in the OR and radiology field
Work Schedule:

This is an evening position with every other weekend rotation. Call is required.
