Job Overview
MEDICAL HOME DEVELOPMENT is seeking a skilled Medical Assistant to join our team. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing efficient and thorough patient care, ensuring high levels of satisfaction for patients, family members, physicians, staff, and visitors.

Responsibilities
• Greet patients professionally, communicate effectively, and provide exceptional customer service
• Schedule appointments, reschedule as needed, and prepare necessary forms
• Register patients, capture demographic and financial information, and update insurance details
• Collect co-pays, communicate financial liability, and maintain accurate records
• Prepare for patient visits, review medical records, and ensure paperwork is complete

Essential Functions
• Assist physicians and nurses with patient care, perform procedures, and document findings
• Prepare treatment rooms, equipment, and charts, and chaperone physical examinations
• Perform tests, manage supplies, and track laboratory procedures

Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Certifications: CMA, HIPAA, CPR required
• Two years' experience in a medical environment preferred
• Supervision received from Office Coordinator/Manager

Compensation
$45,000 - $50,000 annually
