Key Responsibilities- Assist residents with daily living activities, including personal care, grooming, and hygiene
- Prepare and serve meals, snacks, and beverages
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, including laundry and housekeeping duties
- Engage residents in activities, socialization, and orientation
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care plans
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Basic reading and writing skills, and ability to speak English in an understandable manner
- Knowledge and experience in working with elderly, with previous dementia experience preferred
- Certification required according to state regulations, and successful completion of Arden Courts' training
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and squat for prolonged periods
- Ability to push and pull objects and lift and carry up to 50 pounds, unassisted, on a frequent basis
- Full use of hands, arms, and legs (for washing, bathing, dressing, writing, cleaning)
