Job Summary

The Phlebotomy Technician plays a vital role in the laboratory workflow, responsible for greeting patients and visitors, processing orders, and answering calls in a courteous and professional manner.

This position requires a Phlebotomy Certificate, at least one year of experience, and a copy of the highest degree earned. The technician must also be willing to obtain certifications and have a flu vaccination.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of phlebotomy procedures, basic computer skills, and excellent communication skills. They will also participate in laboratory continuing education programs and represent the laboratory in a professional and caring manner.

Requirements
  • Phlebotomy Certificate
  • At least 1 year of Phlebotomy experience
  • Copy of highest degree earned (diploma) or transcripts
  • Brattleboro Memorial Laboratory Submission Questionnaire
  • Flu vaccination
Additional Requirements

The selected candidate will be required to work rotating weekends and will not be on call.
