At Soar Autism Center, we are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our interdisciplinary team in Glendale, Arizona. As an Occupational Therapist - Pediatric Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with young children aged 2-6 years, designing and executing naturalistic occupational therapy programs that foster their growth and development.

As an Occupational Therapist at Soar Autism Center, you will be an integral part of this mission.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing targeted interventions to enhance clients' gross motor, fine motor skills, feeding abilities, and performance in other daily activities.
  • Conducting comprehensive multidisciplinary assessments and formulating treatment plans in collaboration with other clinical domains (ABA, speech therapy, psychology).
  • Providing coaching and mentorship to a team of Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), guiding them in integrating OT goals into their therapy sessions and supporting their professional development.
  • Regularly monitoring client progress, revising treatment plans and objectives as needed, and ensuring effective communication with team members and families.
  • Forging strong partnerships with families, setting collaborative goals, fostering meaningful relationships, communicating progress, and offering dedicated coaching and support throughout their journey.

We offer a competitive salary of $**85,000 - $110,000 per year**, depending on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision plans, a company 401K with company contribution, and opportunities for professional growth and development.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy with a focus on pediatrics or a similar field.
  • Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Experience in working with children with autism or related developmental disorders.
  • Strong understanding of and commitment to early intervention and integrated care approaches.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a passion for supporting the growth and development of children with autism.
