The Manufacturing Training Specialist is responsible for delivering comprehensive training on Safety, Company Culture, Operational Systems, Production, Logistics, Technical Skills, and Business Practices to employees. This role includes organizing training schedules and managing various administrative tasks such as database oversight, report generation, and presentation preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Training Coordinators and Management to identify and develop training materials
- Facilitate training sessions tailored to the assessed training requirements
- Conduct orientation for new hires covering Safety, Company Culture, Operational Systems, Production, Logistics, Technical Skills, and Business Practices
- Implement annual compliance training initiatives
- Update and monitor shop floor competencies using database systems and produce relevant reports
- Maintain accurate records of training attendance in accordance with ISO standards
- Strive to keep training sessions engaging and interactive for participants
- Flexibility to work various shifts to provide training as necessary
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Windows, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Capable of delivering training content in both individual and group settings
- Competent in conducting Internet research
- Ability to follow detailed instructions
- Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Ability to prepare weekly reports
- Proficient in managing database systems
- Consistent and reliable attendance
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues
- Professional and courteous interaction with others
- High school diploma; an associate degree in a relevant field is preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in Safety, Manufacturing, or Logistics
- Strong proficiency in English writing and speaking, with the ability to present training materials effectively to diverse audiences
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook)
- Creative approach to developing effective training resources
- Ability to meet deadlines for tasks and projects
- High adaptability and flexibility in various situations
- Strong work ethic, dependability, and commitment to teamwork
The employee is regularly required to sit, use hands for handling or feeling, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. Occasionally, the employee may need to stand, walk, or perform physical activities such as kneeling or crouching. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The role requires physical mobility to navigate the factory floor and may involve exposure to loud environments during on-the-job training.

COMPENSATION
Target pay is $25+/hour based on experience.
