Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate students' physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
- Provide client-centered occupational therapy services, focusing on enhancing functional abilities and independence.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic and coordinated care for students.
- Maintain accurate and current documentation of student progress, Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and treatment plans.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of therapeutic strategies.
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Occupational Therapy.
- Current WA licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
- Proven experience providing occupational therapy services, particularly in a school setting.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional development.
