Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Director to join our team at Independence Corrugated. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and repair of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program to ensure the optimal performance and efficiency of our equipment and facilities.
  • Supervise and direct a team of maintenance personnel to carry out routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and projects.
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and prioritize maintenance needs and develop solutions to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including schedules, repairs, and inventory.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to optimize maintenance budgets.
  • Provide training and guidance to maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify potential issues and develop proactive maintenance plans.
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in maintenance management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Background in steam boilers and experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field, such as engineering or maintenance management.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
