We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to join our team at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL). As a Logistics Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment within our laboratory complex.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect incoming materials and equipment for accuracy and completeness
• Process and document receipts, including updating inventory records and generating reports
• Coordinate with internal customers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment
• Operate a forklift and other material handling equipment as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree or higher preferred
• 4+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
• CDL and ability to maintain one
• Dangerous Goods Certification for Shippers
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
