Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Registered Nurse to join our team at Centennial Medical Center TN. As a CVICU RN, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients requiring advanced cardiovascular care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the CVICU, including those requiring advanced cardiovascular interventions and monitoring.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor and manage patients' hemodynamic status, including PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring.
  • Perform central line insertion, swan insertion, intubations, and other procedures as needed.
  • Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Tennessee.
  • 2+ years of experience in a CVICU or critical care setting.
  • Strong critical care experience, including CVICU experience.
  • Skills with PA catheter and hemodynamic monitoring required.
  • Preferred experience with IABP, Impella, and CRRT.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
