Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Automation Specialist to join our team at Bastian Solutions. As a key member of our sales team, you will work closely with our consulting and sales teams to design and implement automated material handling systems for our clients.

Your primary responsibilities will include developing a deep understanding of our Exacta software, supporting our sales teams as a software subject matter expert, and leading requirements gathering and scope definition efforts with our customers.

You will also be responsible for creating software-specific proposal and presentation content, supporting sales presentations, and working with our Software Delivery team to communicate requirements and develop cost estimates.

In addition to your technical skills, you will provide excellent customer service by staying engaged with our customers long-term and supporting our Software Operations team as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a solid understanding of Bastian's Exacta software
  • Support our consulting and sales teams as the software subject matter expert
  • Lead requirements gathering and scope definition efforts with our customers
  • Create software-specific proposal and presentation content
  • Support sales presentations
  • Work with our Software Delivery team to communicate requirements and develop cost estimates
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Support our Software Operations team as needed

Requirements:

  • 5+ years' industry experience in technical sales
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial preferred) or related technical/supply chain field
  • Technical mindset with a strong desire to learn and problem-solve
  • Positive, entrepreneurial attitude with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Confident communication and presentation skills
  • High proficiency in MS Office applications
  • Familiarity with material handling equipment and automation
  • Experience with warehouse software applications
