Job Overview

As the General Manager of our Truss Division, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to achieve operational excellence, drive revenue growth, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will develop and implement strategies to improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance the overall performance of our manufacturing facilities.

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a proven track record of success in managing high-performing teams, driving operational excellence, and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. You will work closely with our senior leadership team to develop and implement business strategies that align with our company's vision and goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategies to drive operational excellence, improve productivity, and increase profitability.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement across all sites.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met with exceptional service and timely delivery.
  • Implement and enforce safety standards and compliance policies, promoting a secure and efficient work environment.
  • Develop and oversee budgets for multiple locations, focusing on financial targets, cost management, and profitability.
  • Identify and execute opportunities for operational improvement and business growth, introducing best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in truss manufacturing, building components, or a related industry, with a deep understanding of production workflows and materials.
  • Minimum of 5-7 years of leadership experience managing multi-site operations or high-volume truss plants
  • Proven success in building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, emphasizing process improvement and results-driven outcomes.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities, with clients, staff, and senior leadership.
  • Solid understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards in manufacturing environments.
  • A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
