Job Title: Physical Therapist PRN
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at Wellstar Health System, Inc. as a PRN (as needed) therapist. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing rehabilitation programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, and increase strength in patients suffering from disease or injury.
Key Responsibilities- Patient Assessment: Collaborate with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, plans of care, goals, and discharge plans for patients related to physical therapy needs.
- Treatment Planning and Provision of Care: Implement physical therapy treatment plans, select appropriate treatment activities to progress patients towards goals, and revise goals/plans of care with patient/family input.
- Documentation: Document evaluations and plans of care according to departmental guidelines, document each treatment session according to departmental protocols, and complete and submit family education, discharge, and other required documentation within facility and program guidelines.
- Education: Graduate from an accredited physical therapy program.
- Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a Physical Therapist and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Effective Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Customer Service Focus: Customer service-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality care and service.
- Team Orientation: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a healthcare team.
