Senior Architect

- Education and Qualifications: First Professional degree in Architecture or other qualifications approved by state architectural boards.
- Registration and Certification: Registered architect with NCARB Certification, with a willingness to pursue out-of-state registration as required.
- Work Experience: 3+ years of experience as a registered architect, with strong design skills and proficiency in Autodesk products and other computer-aided design software.
- Key Responsibilities: Protect the client and public's health, safety, and welfare by applying technical knowledge and skill in accordance with standard of care and practice law. Perform duties in conformance with relevant codes and laws, including working with relevant authorities having jurisdiction and coordinating their review submissions.
- Design and Project Management: Create project design concepts using computer-aided design software, and/or hand sketching. Develop project goals and constraints with clients, including client objectives, design criteria, project and design budgets, and schedule requirements.
- Team Leadership: Oversee and direct architectural teams daily project activities, status, and progress in all project phases, preparing technical drawings and specifications. Monitor, make adjustments, and confirm project progress, ensuring alignment with owner(s) and firm budget parameters.
- Quality Control and Administration: Exercise appropriate knowledge of engineering disciplines to evaluate and coordinate work done by consultants and internal engineering teams. Provide bidding and construction contract administration of architectural elements, including requests for information, submittals, cost events, pay application, and on-site observations.
