Job Title: Registered Nurse - ICU

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse - ICU to join our team at All Med Search. As a Registered Nurse - ICU, you will provide direct nursing care to patients and their families in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, and implement care and interventions in addressing the problems of the neonate
  • Carry out physician orders
  • Assist physician during examination, treatment, and procedures
  • Administer prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs
  • Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care
  • Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems
  • Instruct and educate patients and families
  • Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team
  • Provide age and culturally appropriate care
  • Maintain a safe and therapeutic patient care environment for at-risk infants
  • Orient and mentor new staff members
  • Follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required

Requirements:

  • ADN required
  • BSN preferred
  • Current Texas State Licensure as a Registered Nurse (Compact license is accepted but TX State RN license required within 30 days of hire)
  • Current ACLS and BLS
  • At least 3 years of nursing experience
  • ICU experience of at least 2 years
  • MUST have recent ACUTE care experience
